Training Services
It is critical that the Switchgear are operated and maintained correctly in order to ensure the proper performance and durability. Tamco Middle East offers various combinations of training services to its client and end users.
Classroom Training Courses covering but not limited to:
- Basic theory of Switchgear & Switchgear components,
- Fundamentals of operation of switchgear
- IEC standards & Type testing requirements
- Operation and Maintenance Training Manual pertaining to Tamco Middle East products including Site installation and Testing.
- Safety precautions & Interlocks
- Testing Equipment and diagnostic tools required for testing and maintaining the switchgear.
- Recommended safety policies and procedures when operating the switchgear.
Factory or On-Site Training covering but not limited to:
- Physical operation of the switchgear including safe racking-in/racking-out of the VCB, Switching ON/OFF of the VCB
- Earthing Switch Operation, Electrical & manual Spring charging motor operation, Shutter mechanism locking, etc.
- Interlocks between VCB and Earth Switch and mechanical type Castell Key Interlock Scheme.
- LOTO procedures
- Switchgear Components: VCB, Protection Relays, Potential and Current Transformers, etc.
- Regular and Major Maintenance Procedures
- Recommended safety policies and procedures when operating the switchgear.
